10 things that student need to know about this library:





Book Loan :
For Pre-Diploma students, max number of books is 3 and the duration to borrow is 14 days. For Diploma students, max number of books is 20 and the duration to borrow is 14 days. These limitations also applies to Degree students

Steps to Borrow & Return The Books :
Firstly, Use OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) to find the book that you want to borrow. Secondly, find the book at the bookshelves while referring to LCC classification system. Thirdly, use your matrix card to identify yourself as a customer at the Self-check Machine. Lastly, when you want to return the book, simply enter the borrowed book in the Book Return Kiosk

Penalty :
The fine for unreturned books is RM 0.20 for each book. If the fine is not paid, you are not allowed to borrow any book anymore

Missing book :
Please make a missing report as soon as possible at the main counter to avoid the increase in penalty. Customers are given 14 days to find the missing book. If they fail to find it, they have to pay for the book according to it’s original price plus an additional fine for late returning

Book Loan between Libraries :
If the book can not be found in Al-Bukhari Library, a special loan can be made at another library through the main counter

IT Room Usage :
Students are allowed to use the IT room as long as they register their name at IT room counter. They are allowed to enter the room for 1 hour at a time, they must renew the registration if they wish to continue the usage. Students are not allowed to use foreign software besides the already available software

Library zones :
There are 3 zones in Al-Bukhari library, Leisure zone, Quiet zone and silent zone. Leisure zone is the place where discussions can be made as long as comfortable and controlled voice is used. In the Quiet zone, student’s voice must be lowered to a certain degree, normal conversation is not allowed and cellphones status must be set to silent. Silent zone is the most perfect place to concentrate and make revisions as it is a place of absolute silent, no conversation is allowed, the environment is almost have no sound and use of cellphones is not allowed

i-Book KKM :
This feature is basically a website to find End Notes Software,  Online Databases and Research Work modules. To access this site, first you must browse Al-Bukhari library portal. Then, click on i-Book KKM on the right column. After that, click on Place Reservation and choose a module. Lastly, fill in information on the given space
